TransAct coordinates with our mapping provider to make updates to roads and mapping. This may include adding or updating roads, road names, traffic patterns, and more.
To ensure we can process the change accurately, you will need to provide the following details:
- The exact coordinates where the adjustment is needed—the easiest way to find the coordinates is to right-click on the exact location on the map in EZRouting that needs the adjustment.
- A screenshot from a secondary source showing how the roads should appear—Bing Maps is often a great reference, as it uses a different mapping provider.
- Confirmation that all road names and spellings are correct
Once we have those details, we will submit the change to our mapping provider.
Important Note
While we submit updates immediately, it can take up to 10 days for changes to go live on the routing site.
For Time-Sensitive Updates
If this update is time-sensitive, we recommend creating temporary roads in EZRouting to keep things moving in the meantime. However, these temporary roads will need to be manually removed once the official updates go into effect.
