A Feed School is the next school in a student's education sequence. Typically, an Elementary school feeds into a Middle School, and a Middle School feeds into a High School. This is an important setting for your rollover process at the end of the year, as it determines which school your students experiencing school changes are assigned to.
The fastest way to review your Feed School settings is to go to the Students tab. Then, under Operations, click Rollover.
We will not process the rollover; this tool simply displays all your Feed School settings in one place.
At the top of the rollover tool is a table that displays your schools and their corresponding Feed Schools. Review this information to ensure its accuracy before manually processing your rollover.
If you notice any inaccuracies, navigate to the Schools tab.
For the School location you need to set the Feed School for, hover the three dots, and click the edit icon.
Once the school record is open, you can see what Feed School is assigned. In this case, students in 5th grade at CMR Elementary School will be assigned to 6th grade at Lincoln Middle School during the rollover process. If you make any changes, make sure to click Save.
