Seating Chart and Seating Plans

Set up Seating Plans

EZRouting system allows users to customize seating plans for different vehicles flexibly. This can be accessed by opening a vehicle record and opening the seating plan settings.

Click the seat button to view and edit seating chart labels. You can edit the row numbers, column names, and also label names for both driver side and door side as desired. You can also set specific numbers of rows and columns. You can click on the labels and row numbers to edit them.

If you don’t need the row name like ABC, you can remove the content and keep it blank. You can also set the seating type if there are any wheelchair seats or emergency exit seats. If one seat spot is not available on the bus, you can set it as an unavailable type.

If you are satisfied with the seating plan, be sure to click the save button to save all changes.

You might have multiple vehicles with the same seating layout. In this case, you can clone the seating chart to other vehicles by clicking the CLONE button. Select the vehicles, then click the SAVE button. The vehicles will have the same seating plans ready. Now you can create assigned seating charts for each of your bus trips with the layout you customized.

One thing to note here is that all the seating charts of the vehicle will be reset after saving the new seat plan.
