For our clients who are wishing to create new routes and trips for the new school year you can use our magic wand function to automatically generate trip stops and student assignments.

To do this go to your routes tab and select a new route or a currently existing route.

Next you will want to make a new trip using the plus sign to add a trip be sure to select the appropriate student filters for schools if needed.

You should see a green magic wand button after you click this the system will automatically generate a trip and assign students to their stops including stops going to the appropriate school or schools. Please be patient as this function may take a couple of minutes to find the optimal trip for your students.

Be sure to select a number of students that is less than the capacity of the vehicle you are assigning for and the system will generate results based on students transportation plans once the trip has been generated. You can edit it as you see fit adjusting student assignments and or trip stop order and then click save once you are happy with the results.
