EZRouting supports associate vehicles with street segments. You can set the street segments (house number range, odd house number only, even house number only) and schools for each vehicle by using the Vehicle Streets function within the vehicle records. Students living at these street segments will be designated to the corresponding buses. The designated vehicle info is will be shown on the student record automatically, it would be helpful when you route the students.

For example, Bus 02 passes through the even side on Millersville Pike and will arrive at Fulton School. That means Bus 02 will be the designated vehicle for students who attend Fulton school and live on the even side of Millerville Pike, like Howard Collins, you can see the designated vehicle is shown under his address section.

If you use the search and add the bus schedule function, bus 02 will be shown under the list with a label Designated.

To set up vehicle streets, all you need to do is open the Vehicle record and add street segment information to the vehicle streets section. You can specify the house number range, even or odd side, and schools the bus will pass through.
Click the tick button to stop editing and always remember to save all the changes.

If you have the vehicle streets information organized in spreadsheet format, we can also import the data for you from the backend.

First, click the plus (+) button to add a new street segment. Then specify the house number range, even or odd side, and schools the bus will pass through. Click the checkmark (✓) button to stop editing—and always remember to save all the changes.
